Training funds
ArcticNet and APECS Canada have been collaborating on initiatives to support the training of the next generation of Northern Researchers. We are thus pleased to announce that our APECS Canada members are now eligible to the ArcticNet Training funds.
These funding opportunities aim to encourage early-career polar researchers to seek additional training and acquire new skills.

This fund supports training sessions on Indigenous Awereness and ethical research in the North.
This fund supports national and international field schools, courses, or institutes.
This fund aims to support Early-Career Researchers to participate in safety courses.
General eligibility
Applicant must be:

An ArcticNet graduate student, a northern student supervised or sponsored by an ArcticNet Network Inverstigator, or an APECS Canada member.

Affiliated to a Canadian university
Application process

Applicants and supervisor must fill the application and reference forms.

If applying as an APECS Canada member, please list your membership in your application form.

Applications may be submitted at any time throughout the year and funding restrictions may apply.
