About Us

APECS Canada consists of Individual Members, Organizational Members, a Board, and a Leadership Team. 

 

Individual membership in APECS Canada requires that you are also a member of APECS International. Membership is open to all APECS International members that are of Canadian residency, working in Canada, or interested in Canadian polar research. Organizational membership is open to all organizations, including national and regional committees and other professional groups, which share APECS Canada’s mission.

 

The APECS Canada Board is the administrative authority of the organization and Board positions are open to all Individual Members of APECS Canada. APECS Canada is governed by a Leadership Team that is elected by the Board.

 

The board term is from 1 October to 30 September of each year and is renewable. Look out for the call for board applications each September!
